More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

About most outdoor activities, wakeboarding, skiing/snowboarding, hiking/camping, good restaurants, bbq's with friends. Physical fitness. About bettering myself educationally. About living without drama. About determining some of my real goals in life without irrelevant platitudes. About having good times with family and friends. About a cold clear Sierra Nevada stream. About never giving up. About trying to make the right decisions in all aspects of life. About working through the hard times and enjoying the good times. About givin it as good as your gettin it from life.

I typically spend my leisure time

Skiing or snowboarding in the winter. Boating and wakeboarding in the summer. Travel when I can. I went to San Diego State and still have a bunch of friends down there, great city and get down there frequently(southwest is cheap right now). Surfing, not so much in Sacramento but when I'm down there. Photography, not that I'm any good at it yet but I really like it. Languages. And solitary fishing in as much of a remote spot as possible, it breaks the grip of the world on me everytime.

The most influential person in my life has been

The first thing people notice about me

I'm a bit forward but very affable

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Methland"..briefly its a book centered on a small midwestern town that is over run by by the drug. But the drug is merely symptomatic of globalization in that most of the towns lucrative jobs by Iowa standards are outsourced to other countries that will do it cheaper and the residents or alot of them resort to selling drugs to compensate. Its a metphorical story about where were headed unless things change. Eye Opening!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. being alive/healthy w/o it you have nothing
  2. family/friends
  3. living without fear and in the now

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Im a great cook! Mostly on the bbq... summer style but I can work in the kitchen when the winter warrants it.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Genuine, Intelligent, Loyal

A little more about me

We spend 1/3 of our life worrying about what people think of us, than we spend another 1/3 of our life not caring what people think of us, than we finally realize in the last 1/3 of our life no one was paying attention that mattered to us any way. I think I mean let's not all be too serious about ourselves all the time.
