The one thing I am passionate about...
experiencing the process and not worrying so much about the end result of things, friends, faith, traveling, making a difference, seeing art, making art, family, learning, reading, exploring new ideas and experimenting, working at things that are difficult for me and pursuing what comes easily, making a point to have fun along the way.
I typically spend my leisure time
drawing, especially outside, painting, working in my studio, helping where i can, coffee or drinks, dinner, brunch, shopping, working, anything with friends, going for walks or runs with friends in the park, fire island in the summer, traveling near or far for afternoons or days or weeks or months, dropping into a life drawing class here and there, museums, the Met, yoga, reading.
The first thing people notice about me
either quiet intensity or whimsical tendencies, depends on the day and the situation.
The last book I read and enjoyed
i am usually reading a few books at once...here are 2..The Shack, i loved the description of one man's spiritual experience with god following a tragic event in his life. i also just finished The Cat Who Came for Christmas, which was a light, cute little story of a man who rescues a stray cat at christmas. i love animals, i adored this book.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Christmas & Easter
- beauty in nature, plants, earth, sky, etc.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
that I am as light-hearted as I am intense, and that my intensity applies to everything - I am fiercely loyal, protective, compassionate, encouraging and patient with others, especially my friends. my intensity and demanding driven-ness is accompanied by a lot of flexibility and patience, optimism, hilarity, encouragement to attempt something new or take risks, and permission and a lot of room to "fail" for everyone, myself included.
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Hard Working, Optimistic, Passionate
