More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

The outdoors and photography. I love backpacking and getting out where the people are few and the spaces are open. There is something awesome about looking out from the top of a mountain and seeing nothing but more mountains. I lug a heavy camera around with me even while backpacking. Some people think I'm crazy but I love taking pictures. I have a lot of friends that are very special to me. I'll do most anything to help them out.

I typically spend my leisure time

I hike and backpack on the weekends. I like anything that involves friends: board games, video games, eating, etc. I workout regularly. I am taking guitar lessons. (Please don't ask me to play you a song unless you are deaf.) I do also relax on the couch and read a book once in a while.

The most influential person in my life has been

The ability to put oneself in another persons shoes. I think this ability is more important than people know. This perspective really affects ones decisions and attitude toward other people and how they relate to the world in general.

The first thing people notice about me

My sense of humor and my laugh. Beware! I like to use them.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer. It details the 1996 tragedy on Mt. Everest. I am fascinated how small decisions can have such huge consequences in a persons life. I am reading through the Chronicles of Narnia series to relax. I'd say my bible but that always sounds corny to me so I'll just tell you my favorite book is John.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Friends and Family
  2. Relationship with God
  3. Health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am often a paradox. I would love to be a race car driver but have to drive safely. I really like people but need alone time too. I like to do new things even though I'm a creature of habit. I like things clean but I also don't mind getting messy.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Genuine, Good listener, Kind

A little more about me

I'm a middle of the road kind of guy. I try to be open minded and hear someone out before I make a decision.
