The one thing I am passionate about...
Recognizing that most things involve choice, protecting folks that lack the resources or means to protect themselves, and making stuff. I get ancy if I haven't made something--food, crafty, pictures, whatever--in a while.
I typically spend my leisure time
I enjoy cooking and messing about with food, photography, and people watching.
The most influential person in my life has been
I'd like you, that other person, to have some perspective. Not to be constantly cool and reserved, but also not to have your personal reaction dial stuck on 11.
The first thing people notice about me
I'm fairly articulate--until I'm fairly inarticulate.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I read a lot, and describing the very last book I read and enjoyed would grow silly. I'm reading some fluffy fantasy fiction right now, but the pile includes more literary fare, history, a thriller, some art books, and some pop-sciencey books. I have my library card number memorized.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- The people around me--my family and friends
- My pooch
- Music, art, books
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Just because I can be funny doesn't mean I can always do it on purpose!
Friends Describe me as
Easy-Going, Funny, Generous, Intelligent
A little more about me
I'm one damn groovy chick. But look, the "Neither religious nor spiritual" description is the only way I could find to say "atheist" on eHarmony. Yet, somehow, I'm moral, ethical, kind, and compassionate. If you can't respect or deal with my disbelief in not just your god, but in any god, then we are not meant to be.
