More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My faith, learning more about Christ to be more like Him, being active in my church, watching my children as they become adults, creating artwork, maintaining my friendships, my two great dogs, reading a good book, playing team trivia with friends, going to the theater whenever possible, doing something fun with friends, swimming, traveling whenever possible, watching a good movie, plopping down on the sofa like a couch potato and watching the boob tube, NOT watching TV in order to have a stimulating conversation, helping someone, dancing (if I had the right partner!), singing, laughing (I love to laugh!) AND, telling corny jokes!!

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to swim! I try to cover up my gills and fins! Once a week I go with a group of my friends to play team trivia - what a blast! (Especially if we win!) I enjoy a stimulating conversation about anything interesting! I am also content to sit with a good book and work out the gray matter. It is not unusual to find me agitating my two K-9's (it's an art form)!

The most influential person in my life has been

Integrity, morality, passion and compassion

The first thing people notice about me

My wit - and my hair - I have waist length hair

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished a five book series by Stephen R. Lawhead called "The Pendragon Cycle" - It was about King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. it encompassed the dawn of Christianity in the British Isles - interwoven with the myth of King Arthur - very well written!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I am most thankful for my relationship with Jesus Christ!!
  2. I am extremely thankful for my two beautiful daughters!
  3. I am humbled to be chosen by God to be an aritisan!
