More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

There are many things that I am very passionate about in life but the most important one of all is life itself. Often when I am coming out of the mountains from a hike, I am overwhelmed by how fortunate I am to live and teach where I do and have such a wonerful life........sounds corny....beyond that.........hiking, backpacking and mountaineering make up my outdoorsy passions as well as excercising and coaching football. Outside the realm of physical activity would be reading books and newspapers. Lastly, I enjoy spending time with my family who do not leave near, especially my niece and newphews.

I typically spend my leisure time

I like to work out and run. I also like to go hiking. I spend down time at the bookstore.

The most influential person in my life has been

The most imprtant quality that I am looking for in another person is someone who loves to be outdoors, running, hiking or backpacking. oh and of course love.

The first thing people notice about me

The first thing people notice about me is that I am very outgoing and will strike up a conversation with anyone.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book that I read and enjoyed was "The Kid Who Climbed Everest" which was a book written my Bear Grylls about climbing Everest at the age of 23. It was different from other mountaineering books because Bear included quite of few obscure events in the book that normally get left out; such as bathroom issues, long periods of time hanging out in camp, and details of how his body dealt with the high altitude. It was a fun book to read.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family
  2. Job
  3. Education

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

The amount of empathy I have for others and my willingness to help other people.

Friends Describe me as

Hard Working, Outgoing, Physically Fit, Respectful

A little more about me

I feel that life is not just something in which we are bound to just get by .......it is a fresh chance for us everyday to make a difference to those around us and within oursleves. The best way to do this is in a loveing relationship where two people can push each other to their potential whether they always want to or not.
