More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Making a genuine difference in the world, in people's lives- particularly those who are close to me, and even not in my life. Kindness, humor, creativity, social justice, healthy nutrition and physical activity are critical to me-- including love and kindness to those in need, such as animals.

I typically spend my leisure time

Swimming, biking, dancing (i.e, I am quite a salsera! ;-) Reading, writing, watching interesting movies-- especially with some historical value, even if such biographies. Doing crafts or garden projects, as I am artistically-oriented. I particularly like snuggling with my loved one--- and my cats.

The most influential person in my life has been

Genuine connection and companionship. I'd love to finally find someone I'd like to grow elder with-- I refuse to just "grow older", OK?! ;-)

The first thing people notice about me

My smile and my amicable energy. As I have grown, I seem to have more and more "people appeal"-- and yes, including sex appeal-- I think that is more about my energy than my looks.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I enjoy reading, but have rarely have the time to read a full book from front to end. I recently enjoyed "Spiral Dynamics Integral" by Don Beck, Ph.D....a book on tape that I could listen completely as I found it very inspirational for my ongoing calling to support social transformation efforts.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The deep and genuine friendships I've been blessed with.
  2. The varied and meaningful experiences life has granted me.
  3. The resilience and creativity in dealing with life's problems I've been able to develop

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Being friendly or kind, or more specifically... not being inclined to "punch back" when pushed does not mean I am dumb.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Generous, Genuine, Perceptive
