More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I get excited when I talk about aviation, astronomy, or random fun trivia facts, among many other things.

I typically spend my leisure time

I like taking walks or bike rides, reading, watching the History or Discovery channels, and talking to friends. I'm up for anything though - I've taken long trips at a moment's notice and occasionally just go do whatever it is I feel like doing on the spur of the moment.

The most influential person in my life has been

Openness. If I do something you don't like, you should tell me about it rather than keep it bottled up. I don't want to be with somebody who feels like they can't talk to me.

The first thing people notice about me

My curiosity. I'm always asking questions about everything around me because there's so many interesting things going on that I know nothing about!

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Complete Calvin and Hobbes, by Bill Watterson. His sense of humor is right up my alley, but Watterson also does a better job of addressing important issues than anyone else I've ever read. In terms of real books, I liked The Economic Naturalist by Robert Frank. It's a collection of essays about seemingly illogical circumstances which explains why they actually make sense. One of my favorites answers why a spare cell phone battery costs more than the phone itself (battery included!)

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My friends
  2. My intelligence
  3. My financial security

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm actually really outgoing if you engage me. I love talking about anything at all, even if I'm sometimes shy to approach someone and start the conversation.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Dependable, Genuine, Optimistic

A little more about me

I really like talking to people and getting to know them. I love trying new things, going places I've never been before, and meeting new people.
