The one thing I am passionate about...
I'm most passionate about empowering families to achieve their goals in life and "escape" the cycle of poverty. My life's mission is to create an "ownership mentality" among those who are disinfranchised, through a collaborative effort of community programs and businesses who share the same goals and values as myself and my company. On a more personal level, I am passionate about expressing love towards those I care most about. Especially when involved in a relationship, I feel that passion without reciprocity is doomed to fail, and I am dedicated to finding that one who is as equally passionate towards me as I am towards her.
I typically spend my leisure time
For recreation I enjoy being outdoors in most any capacity, from outdoor concerts to just taking long walks. I try to stay fit & active in as much as possible doing anything from basketball to kickboxing. I get bored with repetitive workouts, so I try to mix it up a bit. I enjoy most any type of music, but prefer R&B, rap, neo-soul, gospel and jazz. Love to travel, my last trip was to St. Thomas & St. Croix. Like trying different things, experiencing different cultures, trying different foods. Basically just enjoying what life has to offer. I believe if you're not laughing, learning and growing, you're dying a slow boring death.
The most influential person in my life has been
Someone who can come to the table up front being real and not showing me their representative to impress me. I am much more impressed by someone who is comfortable in their own skin.
The first thing people notice about me
My smile...oh I guess that's appearance too. I would have to say my attitude. I don't let much negativity get to me.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer & The 5-hour work week...How To Escape The 9-5 workday & Live The Life of Your Dreams. "Battlefield" was great b/c it showed me how my own thinking affects my destiny. "Escape" was more about how to truly live life now, instead of waiting til you retire by automating the mundane & redundant areas of your life.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Having good health, mental capacity and awareness.
- Having the love of my close family and friends.
- Having the opportunities that I have to help others succeed in life.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
My diversity. I like to do a lot of different things.
Friends Describe me as
Articulate, Easy-Going, Funny, Spontaneous
A little more about me
