More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Well for me I have very different passions. The first is my Chicago Bears. Here's hoping for another amazing season this year. Secondly, I am passionate about helping the poor of my community. There are so many in need, and never enough resources to help everyone.

I typically spend my leisure time

I've been an avid reading since I was a young girl, and I still think reading is the best way to escape and relax. And it doesn't matter if it is a a novel by Faulker or an article in Sports Illustrated just as long as it is words on a page. I also truly enjoy being with my friends and family and just spending time visiting and laughing and just being together.

The most influential person in my life has been

I want to meet someone who I can laugh with. I love laughing and joking and I would love to be with someone who knows that life is too short to take it too seriously.

The first thing people notice about me

Probably that I will take the time to listen to a person and get to know who he or she is.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished a book called "Sammy's Hill" by Kristen Gore. It's a book about a 20-something woman who works on the staff for a senator who ends up running for vice-president. It was pretty funny, plus it provided an interesting look at how government actually works.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Waking up each morning and coming home each night
  2. My family and friends
  3. Having a good jobs that provides me shelter, food, clothing, and comfort
