The one thing I am passionate about...
I am most passionate about knowing God more deeply each day and being able to glorify Him with my life. I am passionate about learning what it means to truly delight in the Lord and to live a life that is fully blessed by Him - which is a direct result of a close walk with Him. I love nothing more than experiencing true fellowship with other believers who want to enjoy this life with the freedom that God has given us to love Him with all our hearts, minds, and souls and to love our fellow man as we love ourselves. This is, after all, why we are here, right? :)
I typically spend my leisure time
When I have a free moment and a free buck, I love to TRAVEL. There is a constant pull in my heart for adventure, be it in some nearby state or some remote corner of another continent. I just love it! And I love it even more when I'm spending time with great friends and family while doing it -- although I love just being with them doing anything! I also love being active: playing sports, working out, catching a live show of a favorite band, going dancing (I'm horrible!), watching a football game, the list goes on.
The most influential person in my life has been
Similar passions. I want our relationship to enhance our abilities to follow the directions God gives us individually and as a pair.
The first thing people notice about me
I've heard that it's my smile. I express a lot of different emotions through various smiles.
The last book I read and enjoyed
The last book I read and really enjoyed...I'm going to go with Franky Schaeffer's Addicted to Mediocrity. It really makes you think and challenges you to know God - not just what our culture says about Him - better. I'm also thumbing through Captivating right now. I don't agree with it fully, but the Eldreges make a lot of good points throughout.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- the blessing of life itself
- great family, great fellowship, and great food
- a God who is both sovereign and good
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That even though I "have it all together" and seem detached at times from the whole dating scene, I really value companionship and want to be in a God-centered, amazingly fun and meaningful relationship. I just haven't found the right one yet, and I don't believe in temporary relationships just to make myself feel better in the interim.
Friends Describe me as
Articulate, Caring, Intelligent, Passionate
A little more about me
***PLEASE READ: I was super hesitant when I joined eHarmony and took the plunge impulsively. After re-evaluating what lies ahead for me these next few years, I have decided that to involve myself with someone romantically is not wise for me or fair for someone who is interested in settling down. Please don't take my fickleness as a measure of your dateability (made up word?). It was really irresponsible of me to have joined. My subscription ends in a few weeks. Best of luck to all of you in your searches - you all seem like good, quality guys! :)
