More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about the arts and my relation to them. I am an artist at heart, and I enjoy the creative process. I love sitting out on the lawn at Tanglewood, or browsing through museums, listening to poetry, local theatre, walking down the street and appreciating the architecture. I appreciate the poetry in a sunset, and the magical quality of a beautiful day shared with a loved one. I love being at the edge of the sea, listening to a jazz concert. Cultural events have a deep effect on me, they make me feel within my full range of human emotion.

I typically spend my leisure time

In my leisure time I like to bike ride, walk, go boating, read, spend time with my friends, watch a movie, cook, take a long drive in the car through the country, go to the gym, sing, dance, and enjoy life.

The most influential person in my life has been

Loyalty and commitment to stay the course. Some one who can recognize all the special qualities I have, and to cherish them.

The first thing people notice about me

People notice me when I walk into the room by the upbeat comments I make and my huge smile that lights up my green eyes.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Lifes a Beach" by Claire Cook. It was an easy, breezy summer read about relationships, and how just when you think you have it nailed down, it can change. I also like to support my local artists, Claire Cook is from Scituate, and is the author of "Must Love Dogs", which was made into a movie. It's about the trials and tribulations of "On Line Dating" It's funny how life imitates art.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. To Know that I have done a great job raising my children, now that I have launched them into the world.
  2. I'm grateful for the wonderful life that I have, and all the gifts that have been given to me.
  3. I am thankful for the great relationships that I have with all my friends and family.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm not like everyone else, that I am unique in my approach.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Creative, Easy-Going, Funny

A little more about me

That I've only had 2 long term relationships since my divorce 10 years ago, each lasting for 4-5 years. I'm a "serial dater", once I find "the one", I stick around to nurture the relationship and watch it grow for a long time.
