The one thing I am passionate about...
Besides the everday parenting and providing for my sons, the only thing on my mind lately, especially since I turned forty,is finding a lifelong partner. It's so hard to sort out the goodness in a man. It's not safe or wise to just take a new person in my life at face value until I've known him on a regular basis for a while, but even if I got married today, I most likely won't ever have a fiftieth anniversary - I'd be ninety!!! I guess what I'm saying is that I'm passionate about finding a good solid partner for my life. My kids would love it-if it was the right guy. I'm not desperate, just anxious I guess. I won't settle for the wrong guy!
I typically spend my leisure time
I like making strands of beads to wear - I always give them away when someone admires them. When the boys go with their dad for the day, I sometimes go to work and get some overtime in. I would do many more outgoing things if I had someone fun to do them with! I like to go to the pool at the YMCA and swim laps - that's what I've been doing to attempt to lose weight and it's lots of fun too. I like to camp, but I haven't done it in a couple of years. I like to get away for an adventure now and then, but I really haven't done that either.
The most influential person in my life has been
To pick one MOST important quality is so hard!!! I choose loyalty, although I don't have any reason to choose loyalty over warmth or patience. Even-tempered would be quite important if I didn't choose any of the others, I would definately choose even-tempered. I need to have a man who can encounter a problem and work through it with a good attitude. My man must be open with me too!! It is almost impossible to choose one MOST important quality. I want a man who always has time for me and is supportive too.
The first thing people notice about me
I am almost always happy. I'm the kind of person who is happy until I have a really really good reason not to be.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I have no time to read books. The last one that I read was the Bible. I have never read it all the way through, but I found that, with a version that is put into plain English - like a Study Bible - it is very interesting.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- I have many loyal friends.
- God's many blessings and infinite grace
- I am able to consistently provide for my household
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I'm an open book, so I don't think that there is much that a person wouldn't notice about me.
Friends Describe me as
Dependable, Genuine, Happy, Loyal
A little more about me
I don't want to choose a particular man just because he's convenient. I want one that I really WANT. I haven't had a REAL spark toward someone in a long time. I hardly remember what it feels like. I'm a very stable person and as loyal as the day is long. When I realize that a relationship is not working out, I don't waste any time on ending it. I just turned 40 and I want my life to get settled in the right relationship that I will keep for the rest of my life.I'm not impatient and I find diversity to be great - but I want the man that's right for me and it only takes good, simple things to be that guy - HUSBAND - WHERE ARE YOU???
