More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love knowledge, both a wide breadth of subjects as well as the in-depth details. I love learning something new, mastering something hard, and passing it on to others. Some of my most meaningful relationships were when I was either a student or a teacher. I feel the pursuit of knowledge as an integral part of how I live. I try to share the benefits of my drive with others. I have tutored and taught over a number of years and I am frequently willing to stop what I'm doing to help others with a problem. I try to share the simple joy of knowledge I feel. My co-workers often hear some obscure fact over lunch that elicits a round of laughs.

I typically spend my leisure time

My favorite sport is baseball. I watch most of Sox games on TV when I can't get tickets. I have been able to pass on my love of the game to my little brother and we play ball when I'm home and there isn't snow on the ground.I also fish, hike, play basketball pickup games, on rainy days I read, play video games or read all my news feeds online. I usually watch a little TV at night and if I'm not in the middle of a book, I do a little soduko in bed to fall asleep (works better than you might think).

The most influential person in my life has been

The ability to bring out the enjoyment in most situations.

The first thing people notice about me

I have no qualms about discussing any topic no matter how wacky, controversial or politically incorrect as long as its interesting and in good fun.

The last book I read and enjoyed

McCullough's 1776, which is the first year of the American revolution. Well written and had more detail then many books which cover the whole war. It did a good job of humanizing Washington and showing how close our country came to failing before it began.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The sacrafices my mother made for me and my family.
  2. The education opportunities that allowed me to develop into the person I am today.
  3. The fact that I have while always tried to be true to myself.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am an artistic person (who is cursed being very technically inclined too). I enjoy photography, sketching and digital art. But I have no musical ability.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Hard Working, Intelligent, Perceptive

A little more about me
