More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Art, science, technology

I typically spend my leisure time

Travel, read, exercise

The most influential person in my life has been

Chemistry. There's something about a connection where the person just "gets it". You can dissolve your personas and forget about wordsmithing your speech. Also, I've heard a good barometer of chemistry is the car drive test, at least that is what I am calling it. If you feel comfortable with silence in a car with the person, then that is probably a good sign. Of course, humor trumps everything... I think

The first thing people notice about me

I don't really know. I wonder if I should ask them. Unfortunately I think I adapt to situations and appear differently to different people. To some, I'm shy; to others, outgoing. I can get intense when I am working or discussing a topic related to my research. Im also fairly tall

The last book I read and enjoyed

I tend to read research papers, for school and all. But I did enjoy a little book a while back called "Myths of Innovation". It was a collection of findings on how and why innovation occurs slanted heavily on an entrepreneurial perspective. I found that while most of the "myths" presented were commonly known, ie, those in power have the best ideas, there were a few nuggets that reinforced my belief in questioning the assumption made in the world around us. And I enjoyed that.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. friends
  2. health
  3. freedom

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

How silly I can get?

Friends Describe me as

Ambitious, Creative, Hard Working, Perceptive

I am
Somewhat Liberal
