The one thing I am passionate about...
I am most passionate about my relationship with the Lord and living a life that glorifies Him. I truly want to be where he places me, love those He places in my life, and do what He has called me to do. I love to teach, learn, and fellowship with the body of Christ. I also love being around my immediate family. I love asking my friends introspective questions and waiting for the answer. Its not what I'm doing its about who I'm doing it with.
I typically spend my leisure time
I love to be active. I have tried just about every sport and I have yet to find one that I do not enjoy. If I am outside being active I am usually happy. Lately though I've been so busy that I usually just chill with friends and maybe go for a hike. Sports include: regular ones like hockey, soccer, golf, volleyball and extreme/unique ones like snowboarding, hiking, skiing, rock climbing, dancing (country, swing, ballroom) etc.I also love watching a good movie with friends and loved ones.
The most influential person in my life has been
A relationship with Jesus Christ that starts with a Fear of the Lord, Love of God and Love of Others. I love (playing not watching) sports and I love to play guitar. If you are an athlete or a musician that is a plus.Looks are somewhat important but I don't care what you look like, if you don't first love our Lord Jesus. That is primary and absolutely necessary. Not perfection, just someone who strives to love Jesus.
The first thing people notice about me
The last book I read and enjoyed
Anything by these guys: Francis Chan, John MacArthur, Ray Vanderlaan, John Piper, William Lane Craig, RC Sproul, John Stott, Chuck Smith, Ravi Zacarias, CS Lewis etc
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Being a child of God saved by grace alone
- Being blessed with an amazing christian family
- Being blessed with several amazing christian friends
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
not sure... here is a great quote "You don?t get married to become happy, but rather to make the other person happy. Your own happiness is a by-product, a consequence, of maintaining the proper end. If, by contrast, you get married simply in order to make yourself happy, your true happiness is made that much more unlikely" C.S. Lewis
