More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about my education and pursuing a writing career.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy reading, drawing and writing in my down time.

The most influential person in my life has been

I want a person who would be just as happy and content spending a beautiful sunny day indoors watching horrible horror flicks as she would were she stranded outside, fixing a flat tire during a rain storm. So I basically want someone who appreciates every moment of life and considers the good and the bad as a part of a larger, more sacred experience, which is simply our beautiful and fleeting existence.

The first thing people notice about me

That is a good question that I am unable to answer. I can't remember what I initially noticed when I first met myself and I have no way of knowing what other people noticed first about me.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished Rick Strassman's "DMT: The Spirit Molecule". It's a very interesting book about a 1990's study done by Strassman on the effects of DMT on humans and their experiences under the effects of said chemical. It also explores the theory that DMT produced in the human pineal gland is responsible for near death experiences.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My ability to cope with emotional situations in a rational way.
  2. My artistic abilities and imagination.
  3. My independent nature.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I wish they would notice that I am simply a primate that thought it necessary to garb myself in fabrics to hide my nakedness, cologne and antiperspirants to drown out my pheromones and gifted with an ability to utilize inanimate objects. I wish they would walk to the nearest mirror and see that they are just monkeys doing the same thing. I think if more people accepted the fact that they are animals who evolved to build and reason and mimic the most beneficial abilities of other animals but still understand that we they are merely animals. Doing this I think there would be more humor, appreciation and awe in the most basic aspects of life.
