More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I tend to "binge" on selected activities and then pass on to the next great interest. As a result, I am "passionate" about opportunities to sample just about everything--except the Japanese fish dish that can kill you if not prepared correctly. I am passionate in my dislike of bullies, parallel parking and noisy kids at the mall. I am passionate about Harry Potter and Star Trek; crisp sheets and kindness to animals. I adore Xmas and all the music and lights and crowds and food.

I typically spend my leisure time

I watch movies, crochet and write stories and read everything.

The most influential person in my life has been

The first thing people notice about me

I have a rich smooth "reader's voice"--nothing squeaky or shrill.

The last book I read and enjoyed

#7 in the Harry Potter series. Not the best in her work, but I was committed to get to the end and prayed that she wouldn't kill the kid! I lecture on the Potter series in my classroom and at conferences, so I'd better be an expert on it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. most of my family
  2. my years of education
  3. my sense of generosity

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I don't spend this much time thinking about myself!

Friends Describe me as

Articulate, Funny, Perceptive, Thoughtful

A little more about me

I don't like putting my life in neat little boxes--like this program. Better I should talk to a human being.
