More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

(I just joined, picture will be posted soon).I am most passionate about caring for my children, seeking wisdom, sports, working hard, watching sunsets and trying to live a life that is worthy of the chances that God has given me.

I typically spend my leisure time

Spending time doing anything with my sons, lifting weights or trying to keep in shape and just kicking back at home. I enjoy reading anything that makes me think or that provokes emotion and I love music. I also love to watch football games.

The most influential person in my life has been

The ability to understand me and to be content with who I am.

The first thing people notice about me

People tend to think that I am a very serious person.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Meditations - The Reflections of Marcus Aurelius". Marcus Aurelius was born in the year 121 and he became emperor of Rome in 161. This book was the personal journal of M.A. and it was written during his later years. It was never intended for publication. The book is about the teachings of Socrates and other stoic philosophers and moreover how M.A. applied their wisdom throughout his life. He was one of the greatest emperors that Rome ever had but yet his reflections are those of a common man and they teach one how to live a simple and content life through the seeking of wisdom (God). That's what I liked the most about the book.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. my children
  2. my family
  3. my life and my relationship with God

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am just the opposite of what they think. I am so easy going and I have a huge sense of humor. I love to make people laugh and I love to laugh with them.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Generous, Intelligent, Kind
