More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about finding an emotionally healthy gentleman who will listen and share, have a somewhat zany sense of humor, enjoy cuddling just for the sake of it, doesn't take himself seriously, will take an interest in my skills and dreams, and will intuitively enjoy showing both verbal and physical affection.P.S. I'd also like him to be patient with me ... I need lots of grace.

I typically spend my leisure time

I most enjoy witty bantering, playing spades, hiking, antiquing, swimming, dancing, dining, choral singing ... enjoying relationships in just about any way that is genuine. When at home alone, I enjoy watching TCM and the news, gardening, "computering," reading, journaling, decorating, communicating with my cats (read: napping,) and watching my Roomba ("Roy") do it's thing.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for a 3D gentleman of awareness who is empathetic.

The first thing people notice about me

People notice my empathy.

The last book I read and enjoyed

OK, I'll admit it ... I'm a bibliophile, so I currently have several books going. The last book I read was "Socrates Cafe," written by a philosophy teacher who started groups in which all types of people came to throw out and consider questions important in life ... as did Socrates. Mostly, I was drawn to the author's passion, empathy, and "go-for-itedness."

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. God's grace supercedes mans' rules.
  2. I've survived the past five years.
  3. Diet Coke!

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My slightly bohemian nature.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Intelligent, Passionate, Perceptive

A little more about me

I will, I will, I will post better photos! I have two extraordinary sons in college, two older siblings with whom I've shared my life, two cats in my apartment, and two cars in my garage ... one is a 1980 Mazda RX7. I'm on the end of the diving board considering diving (not belly flopping) into a personal history business. I was made for relationship. I passionately share ideas, silliness, dreams, and affection ... thank God, I've learned to set boundaries. I'm searching ... not settling.
