More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I can be passionate about so much! Activity wise, I really enjoy being active in nature. With friends and relationships I put a huge amount of importance in people being honest and true to themselves without being malicious or hurtful.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to travel! If I had no restrictions, I would ski more, hike, become a better paraglider and continue travelling the world! And if I can't do that, then by golly, I'll read about it! I also think it's so important to stay active and fit throughtout the year, so that remains a priority!

The most influential person in my life has been

Respect. That ones pretty easy since I think respect is the foundation of any relationship, be it casual or personal. But then a close second would be fun loving honesty!

The first thing people notice about me

On this one I'm going to have to quote my co-workers and friends. They're around me enough! They frequently describe me as being gregarious. If the shoe fits... :)

The last book I read and enjoyed

Eat, Pray, Love- I know this is a one of those best sellers that came out, but one of my friends handed it to me and I read it. It was actually such a pleasure! This book described the authors travels through Italy, India and Indonesia as well as her emotional journey. I really appreciated the authors self awareness and ability to articulate not only the descriptions of the countries, but the energy of the people and places she had experienced. There were definately some dryer areas to this book, but they were important to her journey and I'm glad that I continued and pushed though to the end.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My wonderful friends and family
  2. The ability to travel and be active
  3. Being self sufficient

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I know this sounds silly since my friends describe me as a outgoing, strong individual, but I can actually be quite sensitive! Not in an overwhelmingly distracting sort of way, but more of a thoughtful quiet way.

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Perceptive, Spontaneous, Warm

A little more about me

I like that eharmony gives you the opportunity to develope relationships, but I don't have any real expectations. If I make some friends, great! And if more happens as a result of that, fantastic! But I'm not going to push anything just to have a relationship. I think you can get so much from everybody who enters your life!
