More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I think this might be where one would feel most tempted to pull out their religious "Trump Card" answer...tempting, but no. I'm passionate about my friendships, helping people understand vague concepts (this mostly from my work as a TA), and showing the world something Different.

I typically spend my leisure time

In my free time I can be found cycling (which has been a desire of mine for a long time but I didn't actually pick up until summer of '07), trying to find new and interesting sounds on the guitar, reading about technological do-dads/the economic plight of Africa, or enjoying a good pipe with friends and family.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for someone that I can Grow with (you know, the kind with the capital 'G'!) I've been through some unequally yolked relationships...and there is nothing that feels quite as bad as stagnation. At this point, I'm just ready for someone that can be honest about her Faith and her struggles, a woman who places her life under the headship of Christ.

The first thing people notice about me

Hopefully my willingness to help! Of course, that might depend on exactly how close to 7 AM it is and whether or not I've had that first cup of coffee...hopefully that gets filed under "emotional honesty"!

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm about halfway through 5 books at the moment and I don't really remember the last one I read before that. Lets just say that this is a placeholder until I finish one of those 5 books!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Actually being free to Live
  2. The community of friends and mentors I'm surrounded by
  3. Quiet free time for spiritual and academic introspection

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm really quite friendly past the first sentence! Sometimes spontaneous conversations with complete strangers catch me off guard and my mind is completely somewhere else.

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Intelligent, Spiritual, Thoughtful

A little more about me

Autumn and Winter are my favorite seasons because I can get away with wearing a scarf.
