The one thing I am passionate about...
Serving The Lord and acknowledgeing Him through building and maintainng healthy relationships, music (choir & worship team), staying healthy, counting my blessings and encouraging others, laughter, enjoying God's awesome nature, and new adventures.
I typically spend my leisure time
Many church activities (choir and worship team are my favorite ministries), exercising, nutrition education, outdoor activities where I can enjoy God's nature in Minnesota's awesome four Seasons, caring for my home, reading, bath/prayer time, and sleeping. (I do not spend much time watching TV....life is going by way too quickly as it is and God has a lot of work for me. I plan to live to be at least 100 doing His will; if that is His will.)
The most influential person in my life has been
A man who is striving to please The Lord through his integrity and masculinity. He walks tall with a gifted confidence because of his deeply rooted relationship with Christ. He has many faults also and is a sinner just like me, but he can laugh at himself and at me... even during our many struggles because he has a big heart. Obedience in God's Word is very important to him but he also has a "down to earth" attitude for living in this real and unperfect world. He has deep desire for a companion to pray, praise, and play with, share in meaninful conversations, and enjoy physical attraction. He wants a new best friend and lots of laughter.
The first thing people notice about me
I try to be very kind and considerate (Philippians 4) with everyone I meet. You will notice I am friendly and truly enjoy serving and encouraging others. Friends tell me I am "comfortable" to be with and that I have the gift of hospitality.....I just know it gives me great pleasure to see others happy.
The last book I read and enjoyed
The Bible. My favorite translation is The Living Bible. All the answers to living a rewarding, healthy, and fun life are in this book. It provides me with instructions for an obedient way of life which brings peace and freedom in my daily walk. His Word helps me learn how to treat others and builds my desires for more intimacy with Him. I am truly grateful that He keeps drawing me close. I am in the process of reading five or so books...one that I am truly enjoying is "Beautiful In God's Eyes" by Elizabeth George. An excellent book about how I can strive for similiar character as the Proverbs 31 woman.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My Relationship with The Lord
- My family and church family
- The gift to see God's beauty in simple pleasures...a sunset or sunrise....a childs laughter
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
My desire to please God with everything I do and my knowledge that God adores me.....that I would love for eveyone to feel this way and have a personal relationship with Christ. That I am truly grateful for how The Lord helps me see His beauty in and all around me, especially in the simple things of this gift called life.
Friends Describe me as
Caring, Genuine, Optimistic, Passionate
A little more about me
I put my trust in God, not in things of this world. I truly believe God will direct my new best friend to me in His timing. We will encourage each other's faith and grow intimate together and with The Lord as He prepares us for our joint calling. I believe we will know God has brought us together because we will love and respect each other unconditionally in an easy manner. My current favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 (LIV): "Trust in The Lord with all your heart. Acknowledge Him in everything you do and He will guide your path." I am so happy He is my guide. May God bless you as you allow him to guide you also.
