More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I guess I am most passionate about life in general. I am pretty healthy, have 2 great children and 2 beautiful grandchildren. I would love to meet someone who could make me happy by sharing things and doing things together such as movies, walks, just watching a video at home. I'm not someone who has to be going all the time. I do work five days a week so the weekends would be important to me to do things, even if it's watching a football game on TV or NASCAR (which is a passion of mine). I've also been a Redskins fan for many many years. So I'd have to say my passion is life and finding happiness with someone who isn'

I typically spend my leisure time

I've been divorced for 4 years so I really haven't found anything I'm happy with doing. I do love watching NASCAR racing (really), watching NFL and some college games, walking and being with people I love.

The most influential person in my life has been

Kindness; being affectionate at times other than just when sex is involved; someone who welcomes knowing my family as part of me; is passionate, funny, likes simple things as well as an adventure occassionally. Most of all, doing things together and enjoying life.

The first thing people notice about me

Some are intimidated by me and I'm not quite sure why.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I really don't know. I haven't read a book in a really long time. Getting ready to read one called "When I Lay my Isaih Down". Am told it's a very good story about a teenager who somehow commits murder and his Christian parents get him through it and that they go on to do great things to give this awful thing that took over their lives some type of positive meaning.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I'm thankful I have a job and have been able to support myself since my divorce four years ago.
  2. I'm thankful that we live in a free country and are able to come and go as we please and express our opinions.
  3. I'm thankful that I still have love in my heart to want a relationship with someone even after going through a divorce.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I can be a good friend.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Funny, Intelligent, Outgoing

A little more about me

That I'm not a money-seeker, that I can be a very warm, loving, compassionate & passionate person if the chemistry is there. I want someone to listen to what I have to say and vice-versa. I think honesty has to be a big part of a relationship, as well as communication. Even though I'm 58 years old, I don't think I look my age and I don't want to come off sounding like I think I'm really something but I think time has been kind to my genes. I really don't even like saying that but people see other people in so many different ways.
