More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about relationships with various people. From helping others to making one feel better or encouraging someone to do good for others and his/her community. Additionally, I enjoy spending time with good friends and family and having great conversations with people of all backgrounds. To put it simply, I am passionate about a life filled with great, deep, unique relationships of all types.

I typically spend my leisure time

1) I enjoy catching up with friends whether it be over the phone (if they're in another state) or over long lunches/dinners.2) I love being active and going to the gym or on a hike or really anything that gets me energized and outdoors.3) I like chilling out: reading, watching movies, playing board games!

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who can communicate with me at my intellectual and emotional level. I'm looking for someone who can talk about deep topics yet also joke around about the little things. Basically, someone with whom I can converse as comfortably as I can with my girlfriends. :)

The first thing people notice about me

My warmth and energy.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Nine Hills of Nambonkaha by Sarah Erdman: This book was written by a peace corps volunteer about her two years of work in the village of Nambonkaha, in the Ivory Coast. It gives an in-depth view of the African culture, community, and lifestyle and is wonderfully real and heart-wrenching in its description of poverty, AIDS, and its discussion of freedom that many Americans take for granted. A very insightful book that I would highly recommend.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My amazing, supportive, close, and loving family.
  2. A strong group of compassionate, caring, intelligent, and loving friends.
  3. The fact that I am in good physical shape and have no health problems.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My sense of adventure.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Easy-Going, Intelligent, Warm

A little more about me
