More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Floating down rivers with friends. Slow water trips, some whitewater trips. It's a social thing, and adventure thing, and FUN! Spending time with my daughter is even more important. But if I can combine the two.. great!

I typically spend my leisure time

I like going for walks or bike rides. Watching DVDs while snuggling on the sofa.Going out to movies.

The most influential person in my life has been

Kindness and Compassion. These are qualities that I have as well. I'm not really interested in being with people who find everything a struggle or a competition and want to be "right".

The first thing people notice about me

sense of humor, smile....

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Deed of Paksennarion. It's about a young woman who becomes a soldier in a land of swords and sorcery. Eventually she becomes a great warrior. I liked the character because she lived with the utmost integrity and always sought to do what was right.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My partner (maybe you?!)
  2. My daughter
  3. Being in nature

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Good listener, compassionate. It's OK if they don't notice it right away. Sometimes you have to hang in there for the good stuff. That's the kind of people I want to be with anyway.

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Good listener, Intelligent, Loyal

A little more about me

I've found that you can pretty much count on the Bush Administration to do the WRONG thing, EVERY time, no matter what the issue. Kind of comforting, if you like consistency. Kind of a nightmare, if you're me.
