More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about my career. I enjoy the field of work I am in and the constant need to continuously learn new technologies in order to stay ahead of the curve. Along those same lines, my career has given me the opportunity to travel to various places around the world, which I've always been very interested in doing. There are still many places I would love to go. I do enjoy traveling.Though I am passionate about my work, I'm also passionate about my relationships with family and close friends. I certainly understand that in the end, those personal relationships are all that matters.

I typically spend my leisure time

During the summer months, I enjoy riding my bicycle. I live in the city which makes it all the more thrilling. I want to take sailing lessons as I think that would be a lot of fun. I play golf at least once per week. I truly enjoy the game. I read both fiction and biographies. I exorcise at the gym frequently.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is honest with me and with themselves as well as someone who has a sense of humor and can see the lighter side of life.

The first thing people notice about me

People tend to notice how laid back I can be to the point of being a calming influence :)

The last book I read and enjoyed

I really enjoyed "The Man in My Basement" by Walter Mosely. Anyone I've recommended this book to has enjoyed it as well. It has a "Twilight Zone" aspect to it and with Mosely's unassuming writing style, the reader doesn't quite realize how deep he has brought you into a world most of us don't really think about. Marta Salij of the Detroit News stated it best when she described the story to be "As powerful as the punch you never saw coming." It really is a page turner. I'm currently reading "Fortunate Son", another Walter Mosely book. I'll let you know about that later.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I am thankful for good health, close friends and a grounded, happy family
  2. I am thankful for the wonderful childhood I had growing up which contributes to my outlook in life today.
  3. I am thankful for the financial stability I was able to achieve for myself thusfar.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I tend to be more subdued around people I don't know. Unless we take the time to get to know each other, I sometimes come across as being somewhat serious minded. If they only knew.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Easy-Going, Hard Working, Physically Fit

A little more about me

Someone once asked me whether or not I was a workaholic. At the time I said no, but I'll let you decide. As corny as it may sound I won Employee of the Year out of two-hundred staff. An employee only wins that once. Most people win it in their fifties or close to retirement. For one year I was recognized as being the best at what I do by striving to be so. I put effort in being the best I can be, I hope it will be good enough for you. Oh, did I mention that I like to cook :)

Sports I enjoy watching

Basketball, Football, Golf
