More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about learning, whether that be through traveling, reading, or engaging in conversations with people.

I typically spend my leisure time

Honestly, I am one of those people who is usually up for anything. I did the Warrior Dash last year and signed up to do the Mud Factor this year. I'm planning to go canoeing with friends later this month. I enjoy new experiences with quality people. Movies, theater and dining out are all fun too.

The most influential person in my life has been

I refuse to just name one thing :p. Integrity, intelligence, and sense of humor are key qualities I look for. Good sense of style and ambition is also a plus. Generally a fun-loving, playful attitude is a must.

The first thing people notice about me

People notice that I tend to be quiet when in a group setting. I don't feel the need to be the center of attention. I'm much more talkative one-on-one :)

The last book I read and enjoyed

"White Oleander" by Janet Fitch. I won't do the book justice in describing it with my own words, but it's about a girl who goes through a series of tragedies but remains resilient. It gave me a new perspective of how people endure awful things in life and how it changes them. It's been helpful to have that perspective in my work as a therapist.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family and friends are amazing. I can completely depend on them. It's true that the people you surround yourself with are a testament to who you are and I am fortunate to be surrounded with people who are caring and giving.
  2. My job is quite fabulous. I get to help people, learn something new and feel I am making a positive difference in people's lives everyday. How many people can say that? I have worked hard to get to where I am and I feel lucky to have had the opportunities in life to be successful.
  3. I feel thankful for my health as well. I have been blessed with good genetics and I work hard to take care of my body.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am the most gorgeous, brilliant person in the room? hehe. Honestly, I'm genuine and once you get to know me, you'll see that. I am open and honest. I don't believe in putting up a front.

Friends Describe me as
