More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

What am I most passionate about? I do not think I can accurately describe the things I am most passionate about in such a short space. I have a strong passion for life. I love my family and friends. I love my dog even when he is doing his doggy things. I am most passionate about my writing, maybe. It is important to me as it fills so many needs in my life. It gives me a sense of accomplishment, it helps to heal me when I am hurt, it brings me joy when others like the stories I have put on paper, and it allows me to explore ideas and events in ways I never dreamed.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy writing, surfing the net to research topics, and reading a good book when I am alone. When I am with others the options range from fun social engagments to simply hanging out.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is mentally and emotionally stable. I was married to a woman for 4 yrs who never loved me and her mental/emotional health never improved despite years and years of therapy. I do not want to be hurt that deeply again.

The first thing people notice about me

I am not sure. When I asked my friends the most overwhelming responce was my mischeivous smile.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"The Reality Disfunction" by Peter F. Hamilton. I am not a big SciFi nut but his book (really it was 6 books only because no one in the world wants to read a 24,000 page book, you can't take it anywhere!) was filled with interesting characters, a expansive and well developed storyline, and a pacing that kept you wondering "what's next??"

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family's love and support
  2. The love and support of my friends
  3. The gifts that God has bestowed in my life

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Never really dwelt much on this topic.

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Good listener, Modest, Romantic

A little more about me

I believe that anything someone wanting to get to know me asks, I can share.I think it is important to add that I am not looking to jump into a relationship. I want time to get to know the other party involved and have them know me. Friendship first, without that - nothing else is possible.
