More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Friends, family, keeping in physical condition. I am pretty independent philosophically, preferring to way claims against facts in lieu of reacting impulsively. I am content being single, however I understand that having the right companion can make life generally more enjoyable.

I typically spend my leisure time

1. Sports: skiing, golf, running, strength training, basketball, bicycling 2. Working on and around the house. 3. Hanging out with friends.

The most influential person in my life has been

Physical condition and a spark of chemistry, honesty, trustworthiness, stability (emotional and financial). Someone who is a few years younger than myself is a better fit for me, since I am fairly active and since, as most probably say, I look younger than my age.

The first thing people notice about me

Probably that I am fairly quiet at first, but tend to open up a bit more later.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Honestly, my Mom gave me "Rickle's Book", which is Don Rickle's autobiography, to read. The interesting thing about it was as he was describing experiences from his past, you could see that amongst his friends, club managers, booking agents, and even within a particular type of "connections", people really looked out for each other back in the 1940's, 50's and into the '60's. It very effectively made the disloyal, me-first, hose your neighbor, culture that we have today stand out. At least that's what I took away from it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Justification by grace alone, thru faith alone, because of Christ alone, to God alone be the glory
  2. family & friends
  3. health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That quietness doesn't translate to indifference or arrogance. I tend to mind my own business for the most part.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Funny, Intelligent, Physically Fit

A little more about me

I am pretty down to earth and not very trendy. Like to keep things simple. If television is an indicator of personal philosophy, I watch the O'Reilly Factor fairly regularly. I also record and watch House every week, because for some reason I relate to certain aspects of the main character. That will probably cost me a few communications.
