More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

...

I typically spend my leisure time

Having a good conversation with someone like-minded; reading, enjoying good books, and learning something new; listening to wonderful music; watching the waves on the shore, watching the sky and clouds change, looking at the stars and the night-sky, loving and appreciating the beauty of nature and all of its moments; knowing there are 'no ordinary' moments in life - that all are special and too brief!

The most influential person in my life has been

A man who knows and appreciates that there are 'no ordinary' moments in life, and has a joie de vivre; someone who wants to love and be loved.

The first thing people notice about me

What you see is what you get - what I am is what I am - I am interested in who "you" are - I am real.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Desert Traveller - The Life of Jean Louis Burckhardt. The life of one of the world's greatest explorers and the man who was the first to enter Petra - the lost city - in Jordan, and discovered the ruins at Abu Simbel in Egypt. Born in 1784 and died in 1817 - one of the most remarkable men of his time. The thing I love most about this book was being able to share his adventures with him and learn more about all the places I've always wanted to travel to - but have never been able to. It is always interesting to learn how other people lived there lives, and the times and influences that made them what they became.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. ...
  2. ...
  3. ...

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That they would understand that just because I am 'older' that I am not 'old', and I still haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up! And probably never will.......

A little more about me

That I am truly a good woman who would like to spend the rest of my life with a good man. I have much love and passion to share, and hope to find a man who has the gifts to share the same with me.
