The one thing I am passionate about...
I'm most passionate about shaping my personal and professional dreams with someone special, and sharing the road diligently to make those dreams a reality with the person I love. Right now, I guess I'm just a thoughtful, spiritual, and affectionate 29-year old Tech Director looking to find a deep, fun-loving, and down-to-earth Christian partner.
I typically spend my leisure time
Understanding others from the inside out. Tinkering with things to make them work better. Camping and hiking are always fun. Wandering with someone to little-discovered neighborhoods and eateries. Baking/cooking new things is always a welcomed trial. Short, relaxing, or intimate trips anywhere are always great. I enjoy eating homeStyle Japanese, Korean SoftTofu, American Peasant, Hole-In-The-Wall Malaysian. Things like Tech, cars, and gadgetry amuse me. I also seem to have a penchant for things involving high speed - racing, skiing, and snow boarding.
The most influential person in my life has been
I do think I need someone who knows when to be light-hearted and when to be deep, without the ability to overload on any of the two. Also, I value equal relationships, where we can both contribute and reciprocate to the many parts of a healthy relationship. I'd like someone who can be a best friend, is independent when necessary and unafraid to be dependent when she wants to be. I'd love to meet someone who I can share the ups, downs, and yawns of life with, who I can teach and learn from, and ultimately someone who will be happy to build a life together with.
The first thing people notice about me
I can seem very busy. I direct Technology for an Investment Bank with branches in three cities, but love to be home in NYC 90% of the year. I've been told that I can have a practical and professional exterior.
The last book I read and enjoyed
My regular repertoire typically consists of websites, forums, blogs, manga, magazines, or technical manuals. But I've actually picked up a copy of The Reason for God by Tim Keller, and am very much looking forward to diving into it. I also tend to read people and situations more intently than I read books.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- What God has taught me - I grew up as a Pastor's child and interacted with alot of people.
- Friends and family - Love and understanding would be distant concepts if not for them.
- Relative professional success - Being able to support others is key in my life.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I appreciate meeting those who can see through me to find a deep and compassionate interior. I'm affectionate, understanding, and playful.
Friends Describe me as

A little more about me
An insightful friend recently described me as a "serial monogamist." While we both agreed afterwards that isn't exactly true, it made me realize that my past hasn't made it necessary to accumulate lengthy dating experiences. What others call "dating" registers to me as "hanging-out" - I guess I'm less into the "dating game", and more direct and down-to-earth, so you can expect a more straight and natural experience.
