More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Explaining my passion would be as difficult as T.S. Eliot explaining the silence in the Four Quartets (I invite you to google it). It is nothing yet all encompassing. Invisible yet always present. Plato's Truth with a capital "T" and something many call a God.

I typically spend my leisure time

Learning. Whether it's reading a book, watching Nova, starting a conversation with an eccentric, old, man, at the local cafe', I'm always learning something. I also go to Jazz clubs and bars with my friends. I'm at a museum one night and a night club the next. I really do anything and everything with my leisure time.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for someone with an open mind. This is always my red flag. I find people (and not just women I look forward to dating) are complacent, and if I've learned anything in these years searching for substance in life, it's that life is too beautiful for people to be complacent.

The first thing people notice about me

I say bizarre thing to people to throw them off their base and loosen them up a bit. I find people walk around with a number of things playing on in their minds, when I do this, those defenses fall and for a second, I see a genuine moment from individuals.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Albert Camus's Exile. A series of short stories regarding individuals which unknowingly stumble across existentialism. The poor dears.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My Mentors
  2. The Beauty of Life
  3. Franklin Merrell Wolff's "Consciousness-without-an-object."

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm not the Ryan Reynolds I portray myself to be. I'm actually a soft-spoken, observant, iconoclast.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Intelligent, Perceptive, Spontaneous
