More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I thoroughly enjoy traveling and obtaining new perspectives through these travels and experiences. I've seen a lot of the world but have a lot of traveling left that I would like to do.

I typically spend my leisure time

The main things I enjoy in my leisure time are jiu jitsu, hiking, and soccer. I am big on being active, but I also enjoy relaxing, sitting down, and watching a good movie. It's nice to be able to be outside and running around, but nothing can beat relaxing in front of a good movie. I don't get to one as often as I'd like, but I really enjoy going to comedy clubs and dueling pianos.

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty. Whether good or bad, I respect someone who can be honest with anyone. A good sense of humor is also a plus. Life is what you make of it, so why not have fun while you're at it?

The first thing people notice about me

Aside from either getting that I look like Ed Norton, I would say my genuine personality. My profession has led me to interact with and meet a lot of different people, and one common thing I always hear is how easy it is to talk to me.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Thanks to Grad school, it has been a moment since I have read for pleasure, but the last one that I read and enjoyed was Into the Wild. Seeking true happiness and enjoying the small things in life is something that I feel gets lost in today's world, and Chris McCandless lived his life to fulfill those two aspects of life. One of my favorite quotes came from the movie, "The core of man's spirit comes from new experiences." Life is all about enjoying each of life's experiences from trying new things.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Chocolate chip pumpkin pancakes
  2. Cajun Food
  3. Being Left-Handed

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am quite energetic and humorous. I tend to be more of a people watcher when introduced to a group of people in order to read them and figure out how to approach them.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Funny, Genuine, Happy

A little more about me

In following my favorite quote (see last book read), I seem to constantly find myself on the move all the time. Whether playing soccer, training in Jiu Jitsu, studying for and finishing my MBA (Dec. '12), or traveling (pleasure/work), I always try to stay busy and experience as much as I can. I've had the opportunity to see and experience a lot of the world which has made me into the person I am today. I'm also an avid sports fan (hockey/football/soccer/UFC) in which I always enjoy a good rivalry among friends.
