More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm very passionate about channeling my creative energies to instill a love of art, and a sense of beauty in my students. For me, taking time to enjoy my friends and family, and appreciate the life I've achieved is important. I love to read , I enjoy stimulating conversation and a good laugh!

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy meeting my friends over dinner and having animated conversations that usually end in laughter! I love exploring NYC, from taking in the cultural activities to enjoying the best part, the people. I also enjoy time to myself; reading, painting, and making pottery.

The most influential person in my life has been

I would like to meet someone who is comfortable with the person they have become, who is bright and curious about life and has a sense of humour.

The first thing people notice about me

My ability to be in the moment and willingness to engage in conversation.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Henry and Ita" by Rodddy Doyle is a novel set in Ireland during the Irish civil war. I felt an affinity for the characters, because my grandparents meet under similar circumstances. I enjoy reading about this era because of the political turmoil and literary renaissance.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I'm most thankful for my relationship with my family and friends
  2. \\I'm thankful for the stimulating environment which challenges my artist and creative talents
  3. I'm gratful for the wit and sense of humor I get to exercise on a daily basis working in the NYC School System

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My genuine empathy for others.

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

Due to my Irish upbringing, I would like our initial meeting to be viewed as a friendly outing rather than a romantic encounter.
