The one thing I am passionate about...
I am most passionate about educating myself with current events, as well as the environment and making the world a better, less polluted, less wasteful, less consumerist place. And I am passionately in love with the card game Magic.
I typically spend my leisure time
Being outside, reading, listening to music, playing video games, playing card games, and hanging out with friends.
The most influential person in my life has been
Even-temper and optimistic; I don't like it when someone becomes irritated with a snap of the fingers and I really don't like pessimistic people, especially when they confuse pessimism for realism--there is a difference!!!
The first thing people notice about me
Oh, drats! The first thing people notice is my smile, but that's appearance, so the second thing would be my laugh. I laugh a lot, but not too much. I'm just happy so much of the time!
The last book I read and enjoyed
"Love Walked In" I picked it up at a Borders in Glasgow, Scotland while I was studying abroad--I didn't go to class and needed something to do!! It's a little novel that is about a woman finding real love (and discovering real love comes in many forms). It's better than what you are thinking!
The three things which I am most thankful for
- great friends
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Well, everyone thinks I'm so shy and reserved, but once you get to know me I'm really outgoing and crazy (the good kind, not the bad). My friends tell me that this craziness--witty comments and comebacks, doing things on a whim, dancing to the beat of my own drum, etc--makes their life way better, so at least somebody gets a kick out of my antics.
Friends Describe me as
Ambitious, Intelligent, Optimistic, Perceptive
A little more about me
I am uber liberal. So much so that I have heard a hippie say about me, 'whoa, that chick is really liberal.' Personality quizzes tell me that I am 'so open-minded, [my] brains may fall out!' But don't start calling me a tax-and-spend liberal, because I would probably ask for less money for programs than most Republicans in Congress today do! And, being liberal, I am of course accepting of all political ideas and can be interested in someone if we don't share politics (I do, however, draw the line at the right to choose abortion--if you think it should be illegal for all cases, then I'm not interested in you).
