More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love hanging out with people, playing games, watching movies and getting to know them in a very deep and personal way. I also love God and the intimate relationship I have with Him and I love my family.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy having people over to play cards or a board game or to watch a movie. I also like to continually grow myself by reading or listening to sermons or socializing with people and learning from their lives.

The most influential person in my life has been

To love Jesus! She needs to desire a deeper relationship with God so that through both of us drawing near to God will also draw us nearer to each other and allow us to love each other better than we could ever do on our own. Communication is also very important to me. It is impossible to have a deep relationship with someone if they will not communicate their thoughts or feelings with you.

The first thing people notice about me

That I am friendly and inviting and use light hearted sarcasm.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Bible, it's a good book... you should read it! Blue Like Jazz is a book by Donald Miller that expresses "Nonreligious Thoughts on Christian Spirituality." I really enjoyed how candid Donald Miller was in the writing of that book; it was like you were sitting down with an old friend just talking about life. One of my favorite books (even though that is not the question) is "You are Special" by Max Lucado. It is a children's book that has a very important moral behind the story of a little wooden character in a fictional world that deals with some very real struggles. It's a great book.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My Family
  2. My Friends
  3. My Relationship with God

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Some people don't notice that I am friendly and approachable. I have had a couple people who said that they were really intimidated by me the first time we met.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Dependable, Good listener, Hard Working

A little more about me

I am originally from Washington State and moved to Texas five years ago for college and it grew on me. I grew up in the country but not quite as country as Texas : ). We had 10 acres, some livestock and a garden. I am not quite as "country" as that makes me sound but I do feel somewhat claustrophobic in the big city. Just so you know, I am not looking at jumping into a dating relationship at the moment but want to develop quality friendships. Also, my subscription ended and I don't know if I will be able to renew it for a while.

I am
Somewhat Conservative
