More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am looking to get married to an active LDS man. I want to raise a family in a stable home environment that involves teaching my children the gospel. I am not the type of woman you would describe as submissive. I come from a well educated family and I am looking for a husband who wants an equal. I consider a good husband someone who has thoughtfully considered how he can support his family. I'm not saying I need to have lots of money, but I would like to meet someone who thinks about the future and his future family. When I have children, I would like stay home with them. However, I would like to pursue my writing career throughout my life.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love getting outside in the sun. I enjoy camping, hiking, and just talking walks outside. I like going to state parks, national monuments, just about anywhere. I can't say I enjoy the winter too much, though where I live right now does get very cold. I am willing to try new things and activities.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who has a good heart, who is kind and forgiving of others, and is willing to help others reach their goals.

The first thing people notice about me

I think sometimes I come across as unsocial, but it's actually just that I'm really shy. My family moved around a lot growing up and I really became sick of being the "new girl." I try to act confident but I think sometimes it translates to uninterested. Yeah, basically I'm a dork.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Umm...I recently read "The Elf Queen" by Terry Brooks. Yes, I know fantasy isn't exactly consider literature, but it's still fun to read. Kind of like junk food. I like books that complete the storyline in one book. I don't like things that drag on and on. I like Brooks' attention to detail, how well he created his places.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My religion and my belief in God are probably the most important thing to me.
  2. I love my family. I am very close to my sisters and talk to them and my mother on a daily basis.
  3. I love to write. I am continually trying to improve my skill and learn more about writing.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I can be shy at first, but once I get to know you I'm anything but quiet. I love experience new things and meeting new people.
