The one thing I am passionate about...
I am dedicated to my work and profession, but I try not to take myself too seriously outside the office. The more I laugh, especially about myself, the better...life is too short to not enjoy it all. As for what I'm passionate about doing, it has to be my family, close friends, and bicycling. Family and friends, of course. As for bicycling, I love the dirt, the sunshine, the clean air, the smell...ahh, all of it. Plus, I have met some of my closest friends thanks to the sport.
I typically spend my leisure time
Reading. Bicycling (road, mountain, etc). Lounging and relaxing, be it at home in front of the television, or with a friend at coffee or a bar.
The most influential person in my life has been
I can be sarcastic to a fault, so one has to be tolerant (accepting?) of that. But in all seriousness, I appreciate sincerity. Knowing that what comes out of a partner's mouth mirrors what's inside their heart is priceless. A sarcastic wit is also a plus.
The first thing people notice about me
If we shake hands, people normally notice that my hands are always cold.
The last book I read and enjoyed
"Lamb: The Gospel of Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal" by Christopher Moore. It was a fictional and comedic tale of the Joshua's (JC) childhood, as told by his best friend. The writer, a self-described heathen, took creative liberties wherever possible and it shows in every page of the book.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Three great sisters
- Loving and supportive parents
- My health, usually...
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Haha, that I am a huge dork.
Friends Describe me as
Funny, Genuine, Good listener, Loyal
A little more about me
People say that I have 3 first names. I suppose that's neat.
