More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about music, movement and family. I work in TV and have also worked in the theatre. I love the idea that it takes a team of people to put a production together. There is no such thing as a "one man show" in either medium. As for music, I love all kinds. I have been known to crank up my stereo and dance like crazy in my living room. My family has always been supportive of me and my artistic pursuits and for that I am grateful. I try to spend as much time with them as I can even though my parents live out of state.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to cook as well as eat out. When there's nothing on my TV is usually on the Food Network. I also love to dance. Though I haven't been able to do much of it lately I love to travel. I would like to travel to Europe especially the South of France so I can practice my french. I've been brushing up with lessons I've downloaded onto my iPod.

The most influential person in my life has been

The most important quality in any person is integrity because without integrity you have nothing. I believe integrity is what a person does when no one is looking. Life is full of moment-to-moment decisions and the sum those decisions make up who a person truly is.

The first thing people notice about me

It's hard not to notice my outgoing personality. I'm a friendly chatty person and people see that right away.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I recently read "A Place of Yes" by Bethenny Frankel. She is a strong and independent woman who through much trial, tribulation & error is realizing her dreams. She struggled in business and in love and is now the CEO of a multimillion dollar company and a mom. She did it all by being willing to take risks and make mistakes. I found her story very inspiring. She's quite a handful just as I can be sometimes but despite all that she proves that in the end all struggles are worth it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The love and support of my family & friends
  2. Every moment I get to live here on earth because each moment isn't guaranteed
  3. My good health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I wish they could see my good intention. I think some people mistake my open friendly personality for "fakeness". I assure you I am genuine. This is how I really am.

Friends Describe me as

Energetic, Genuine, Outgoing, Passionate

A little more about me

I would like my matches to know that when it comes to dating I can be a little old fashioned but make no mistake I am a modern woman. I realize that people are multifaceted creatures and I am committed to getting to know who they really are and not just, as Chris Rock would say, they're "representative".
