More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am open and love to have fun. I like meeting new people and trying new things. Recently I've been trying to cook more, but that doesn't always turn out successfully. I love sports, I play football, kickball, sometimes softball and volleyball and love to watch the nfl, although I need to get into college football more.I love reading when I have time- usually in the summer on the beach. I also love to travel, I take a vacation a year with a friend where we explore a new place. There are also several trips to various places in between that.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy being around people, whether just a couple friends or with a large group. I go to concerts, take trips, cook for people (a relatively new thing I'm trying to get better), tailgates, happy hours, dancing, or a new experience entirely. I do appreciate quiet time, listening to music, reading, or watching a movie (can't do supernatural kind of scary!) I've recently made a couple new friends who frequently rock climb and want to try that soon.

The most influential person in my life has been

A great sense of humor. An ability to laugh at yourself and life is one of the greatest things to have.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm honest and to the point. I don't have a hidden agenda.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Given Day by Dennis Lehane. He also wrote Gone Baby Gone and Mystic River which were made into movies and probably better known for that. Anyway, The Given Day was historic fiction novel based in Boston during the beginning of the Great Depression and right before the police strike. I'm a big nerd about books.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My Family & Friends
  2. The Beach
  3. Good Beer and Wine

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That's kind of the fun thing about getting to know someone isn't it?

Friends Describe me as
