The one thing I am passionate about...
My family. They are the most interesting and fun people I know. My latest interest is rowing. I love the exercise, the beauty, and the friendships. I wish I had discovered it 30 years ago. If I could only choose one activity to do for the rest of my life, it would be rowing.
I typically spend my leisure time
Already mentioned rowing. Also cycling. Will be riding the STP for the 4th time this year. I have a horse, too. Hiking. Anything that involves exercise and the outdoors.
The most influential person in my life has been
Total commitment, the desire to find and create a wonderful relationship to last through the rest of our lives, a sense of a new beginning, no matter how old we are. Using the probably 100 plus years we have between us and making a fresh start to create OUR life together.
The first thing people notice about me
That I'm funny and like to laugh.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I'm always reading one easy and one not-so-easy book. I read one about autism, Born on a Blue Day, so that was the hard one. I was also reading Where the Heart Is, a girls' book for sure! I don't think many guys have probably read it, but it was also a really cute, heartwarming movie. I love stories about small towns and people finding love and acceptance, even if it's not from their own family.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- my children
- beauty of the Northwest where we live
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I really don't know. I don't think I give much thought to what other people think about me.
Friends Describe me as
Affectionate, Easy-Going, Energetic, Funny
A little more about me
I'm looking for a truly lasting, fulfilling, loving relationship with one man. I want a partner in every way. The clock is ticking! Not the biological clock but the other clock. I want to make the very most of the rest of my life, and I'd like to share that with someone every single day.
