More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Let?s dance; barefooted in my kitchen, on a cool night under the oak trees, or on a dance floor, it makes no difference to me as long as we dance. If you stumble a little bit while trying to impress me with your command of complicated dance moves then all the better. If you can?t laugh, then what is the point?

I typically spend my leisure time

Sailing, walking for fitness, eating out

The most influential person in my life has been

Kindness and a sense of humor. My guy and I can be totally comfortable with each other, old pajamas and hot chocolate comfortable. I am at home when I am with you, no matter where we are. We can talk all night or snuggle up in total silence. We can just fall into each other when we need a safe place to rest. We can get dressed up and go out on the town but we?d rather put steaks on the grill and have a beer at home watching the game or a great movie. I?ll make the salad and peach cobbler.

The first thing people notice about me

that I laugh often and openly and that I am generally cheerful. I also share my faith readily but I don't push it on others. God is the reason I am where I am today and I don't mind saying it. I am real but not so real that its scary. The past is the past and it stays there, I talk about it sometimes but I don't hold anyone responsible for it but those who were there. My mistakes have shaped me into the person I am but they don't have to control me or my attitude now.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Help. I watched the movie first and then read the book. Both were great.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Christs love
  2. my parents/my upbringing
  3. my life with my daughters

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

that I a fiercely loyal

Friends Describe me as
