More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about my son and making sure he is happy. I really enjoy work, and am good at what I do. I work hard but play hard as well. I love sports, baseball and football, even college football. Not just the game, but I am a champion tailgater as well. I also teach business courses at the college level, which is important to me. Helping people succeed is a good feeling!

I typically spend my leisure time

I like to spend time outside. Living in Chicago this obviously limits you, but I like to live outside when I can! I am an active girl but to a point. I'm not into extreme sports or anything like that...but I love being outside. Ideal vacation is hanging on the beach soaking up the sun. That being said, I am not a big fan of lounging around the house and have been known to multi-task while watching TV.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who has ambition. I am always striving for more, and I can't be with someone who is complacent. It's also important to me that someone like to have fun. While I can be intellectual, sometimes it's good to just kick back and watch a game or hang out.

The first thing people notice about me

That I am very generous. I like making other people happy and would give you the shirt off my back if you needed it.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I mainly read books related to business and politics. Truck Stop Politics by Tom Mullikin was a pretty interesting book. John Maxwell also writes a lot of great leadership books.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My son
  2. My work ethic
  3. My generous nature

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm not sure how to answer that. I'm pretty open and I put it all out there. Why hide anything?
