The one thing I am passionate about...
First and foremost, I am committed to my Lord and bringing my three children up in His grace and love. I also love using the musical abilities God has blessed me and my kids with throughout the community. In addition, I adore anything and everything that has to do with the outdoors (traveling, participating in and attending sporting events, hiking, camping, gardening, swimming, etc.). Combine those with the joy of spending quality time with family and friends and you have a small snapshot of me and the passions that move me.
I typically spend my leisure time
Wow, "leisure time". Isn't that what people do when they completely kick back and do only what they "want" to do without any thought for what they "need" to do? Oh yeah, I love to relax with my children and friends by enjoying the sunshine at a great sporting event (professional, college, or little league) or good BBQ. And I love to get the juices flowing with a brisk walk through the woods or a leisurely walk down by the lake. Add jamming on the guitar and singing around a great campfire. And, depending on the time of day and the time of week, either enjoying a great cup of coffee or a smooth glass of red wine with my favorite people.
The most influential person in my life has been
I am looking for unwaivering honesty and integrity. Not to mention someone I can truly laugh with and enjoy!
The first thing people notice about me
The last book I read and enjoyed
Ok, I have to admit that at this time of my life, I'm more of a skimmer than an avid reader. I do read my beloved Bible daily and thrive on all the relevance and guidance it offers in this upside down world. And at this point, the Narnia Series, The Magic Treehouse Series and all manner of Dr. Suess are daily must reads in our house. Besides those, in an attempt to spice up the daily cuisine around the house, I read anything by Rachel Ray... Oh, and The Purpose Driven Life would have to top off the list as being full of great quotes and poems that really touch the heart and soul.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My three amazing and beautiful children
- Life never stays the same. If you don't like today, wait... Tomorrow's just around the corner!
- Great family and friends and the commitment we have to eachother
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Well... I really am just like any other woman... Waiting to be loved and "rescued" by the right knight.
Friends Describe me as
