The one thing I am passionate about...
Education, independence, empowerment, confidence and creating your own destiny. Building one's inner strength and will to make a difference and positively affect the lives of those around me. Helping and protecting them even if it simply involves acknowleging they exist and showing them that respect. Being a good friend, though sometimes I can be lax. Learning about the world then seeing and experiencing it for myself.
I typically spend my leisure time
Learning new skills and crafts, from playing piano to riding a motorcycle to learning a second language. Just, trying new things at least once, sometimes twice. People always ask, why do you want to learn that? or, why go there?...always, why? To which I say, why not? Cliche as it is, life's too short.
The most influential person in my life has been
Spontaneity and a love of life.
The first thing people notice about me
The sign around my neck that says, "Visualize Whirled Peas." Truly, not sure but I'll ask around.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Othello, for my english class. Iago is an amazingly devious character you can't help but love to hate. Othello, however is a gullible fool.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Getting my degree and paying for it on my own.
- Learning to rely and depend upon myself, then knowing when to ask for help.
- Accepting that life is what I make it and to go after what I want.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That, I'm not just a suit wearing, clipboard carrying drone, it's a persona I assume, it's not the real me.
Friends Describe me as
Affectionate, Funny, Kind, Passionate
A little more about me
All cats are evil and need to be destroyed...long live the canine!! Country music isn't dead, just misunderstood. Tattoos and piercings aren't just a form of expressing your individuality, they're pretty too.
