More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I have many passions, one of which is cooking. I like learning how to make new things. Maybe it's because I was raised eating the same ten meals that I seek out variety or because I've worked in different types of restaurants exposing me to unique flavors, that finding new recipes, learning how to master different cooking techniques, and exploring new tastes are fun.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy a variety of activities. In my day-to-day activities, I exercise regularly, share meals with friends (hopefully with some wine), cook and read. With more time, I like being outsideI love to hike, be in water (whether this is swimming or trying to surf) and run along the Charles. At night, I like trying new restaurants, listening to a variety of live music, going to comedy shows, seeing ballet...there are many things.

The most influential person in my life has been

I seek a man who I can play with, talk to, share my life with and love. Someone who is easy going, loves deeply and is serious about his career and his family. Someone who can be an adventurer, but who will also introduce me to new ideas and be able to relax with me at the end of the day.

The first thing people notice about me

My friends tell me that I'm a fun-loving person. I'm always up for trying new things.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Communism" by Richard Pipes. As you may have guessed, the book is about Communism ( :) ), from the founding principles to how this played out in the Soviet Union. I liked the book because I enjoy reading about history and Communism is a topic that I knew little about. This book was short, but it established a foundation for me to read about and understand other Soviet/Russian history.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My Curiosity
  2. My Mom
  3. My Friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I like to laugh and make other people laugh (though I am not always successful with this!) I have a self-deprecating humor and like to make light of everyday occurrences.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Funny, Intelligent, Thoughtful
