More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

The commitment to 'love the Lord my God with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my mind.'(Matthew 22:37)Carrying out the great commission to 'go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything the Lord commanded me.' (Matthew 28:17-20)Striving to act as the spiritual leader the Lord wills me to be. Leading mens small group, leading youth small group, coaching youth sports, reading/writing, watching sports (baseball, basketball, football, mixed martial arts 'UFC')

I typically spend my leisure time

Hanging Out With Friends Reading/WritingWatching Sports (Baseball, Basketball, Football, MMA/UFC)

The most influential person in my life has been

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but 'a woman who fears the Lord' is to be praised. (Proverbs 31:30)

The first thing people notice about me

Confidence that is shown by my personality and the way I carry myself.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm currently reading Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller for the second time. The guy's in my men's small group decided they wanted to read and study it, so I'm teaching on it for a 2nd go round. In Blue Like Jazz Miller chronicles his journey toward a Christian life, in short essays that provide him with the opportunity to examine and experience basic principles in an open, honest, and engaging manner.I like BLJ, I think it helped me personally modify my view on how I should interact with believers and non-believers in my daily life. I think it is a great book for seekers whom are skeptical about Christianty as an organized religion.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The Grace of God
  2. The Unconditional Love of My Family
  3. The Incredible Friends that the Lord has Blessed Me With

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I deeply love and have a heart to serve everyone that I come in contact with in life. I wish others would notice that I 'value' people just for being who they are. If I've met you, know I'm going to strive to invest into your life.

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Funny, Outgoing, Spiritual

A little more about me

I'm not really sure about this whole E-Harmony thing. I suppose I'm used to the more traditional ways in meeting other people (at church, work, school, through friends, out and about). But, some of my friends just kept pushing me until I gave in. You should know that I'm open to the Lord's Will, whatever that may be!
