More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I don't know if there's one singluar thing that I'm most passionate about. But whatever I find interesting I usually approach with a lot of passion. I cheer with all my heart for my favorite teams, I sing songs at the top of my lungs, I laugh until it hurts even if it's my fifth viewing of Zoolander. I'm also a curious person by nature so I have a passion for learning, too.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love listening to music and enjoy discovering new bands and artists to listen to. I'm not quite a "hipster" but I find myself into alot of indie music lately. I used to love hip hop...but now we're just friends. I'm also a sports nut and I'm usually either watching a game, reading about my favorite teams, or playing some basketball with my friends. I also like to cook when I'm inspired to create something...even moreso when I have victims that are willing to eat it.

The most influential person in my life has been

Compassion: having a good heart & soul is not a quality you can learn or develop...you either have it or you don't.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I recently finished reading The Kite Runner. The story is about a boy living in Afghanistan during the 1970's who betrays his best friend/servant, flees his homeland amidst political unrest, adapts to living in America, then eventually returns to Afghanistan to redeem himself. I liked this book alot when I first started reading it because I had somehow convinced myself that it was "based on a true story". Still, I enjoyed it because it gave me a glimpse of Afghan culture before the Taliban came to rule.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My friends and family
  2. My health
  3. My career
