The one thing I am passionate about...
People- I love working with people of all ages- especially youth. I am the youth director at my church so I get to spend time with the young kids, teens and adults. I love interacting with people and sharing what I love and learning about what they are most passionate about.
I typically spend my leisure time
Playing and going to sporting events (basketball, track meets etc), playing music (viola, violin, guitar, bass) , spending time with friends- going out staying in- as long as I am with good company I am happy. :)
The most influential person in my life has been
I want to find someone who is passionate about his relationship with Christ and his life and what he is doing with his life.
The first thing people notice about me
I am fairly outgoing. I love my friends but I am always looking to meet new people and include them in my group of friends. My hope is that people notice that I am genuinely interested in them and not just saying hi or asking how they are doing to be polite.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I am currently reading several books for church as I prepare program stuff for my youth groups. So...here are a list of recent favorites...A Fine Balance, Blue Like Jazz, The Namesake, Contemplative Youth Ministry, Traveling Mercies.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- family & friends
- the ability to hope
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I asked a friend what she thought and she said that I am smarter than I look. Fabulous. I guess I look dumb? I don't know. :)I am in grad school so I must be somewhat smart, I hope.
Friends Describe me as
Energetic, Optimistic, Outgoing, Passionate
